Tandridge Golf Club was formed by members of Limpsfield Chart Golf Club, led by Sir Henry Gibson, who wanted an 18-hole course and to play on Sundays.
They called in Harry Colt to find suitable land locally and design a course, which opened in 1924. Tandridge is one of Colt’s most heavily bunkered designs and has two distinct nines. It has always been noted for its excellent catering.
