Surrey National Golf Club was first opened in 1999 by the Altonwood Group, then owned by the late Ron Noades.
Happy Valley Golf Club was the original name, but this was changed to Surrey National Golf Club in 2002, when the clubhouse and facilities were opened. Designed by leading golf course architect, David Williams, it is 6,858 yards long from the Championship tees and 6,300 from the daily-play tees.
