Hindhead Golf Club

Hindhead, Surrey

Located in the Surrey Hills AONB and close to the Devil’s Punchbowl, the course is a widely acclaimed heathland layout.

It was designed by J H Taylor and has unique valley-influenced holes on the front nine. The founding fathers of Hindhead included the author Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle, who become the club’s first President. The ‘Voice of Golf’, Peter Alliss, was a member and is remembered with a bar named in his honour.
