Camberley Heath was designed and constructed by Harry Colt on heathland in north-west Surrey and opened in 1913.

Apart from a few exceptions, members and visitors are still playing the same course today. Smaller greens, which Colt favoured, and many original bunker positions have been preserved. In 1988, the Japanese company MID purchased the club and a new clubhouse was built overlooking the 18th green.
